SAI Administrators Technology Boot Camp 1a - EVALUATIONS
June 18 & 19, 2009
What did you like most about today?
I liked seeing how things all link together. I'm sure you could have done far more, but time is a constraint. Thanks.
The assistance I received from Scott, Laura, and Jamie and it was quite fast when I was frustrated and things were not working for me.
I really liked the Animoto site, and I liked depth of understanding I now have of the Twitter and You Tube sites.
Just becoming aware of some of these tools/possibilities.
What I got to take with me.
Just learning everything that you showed us. Not say that I will use it all but cool never-the-less.
Learning about the webcam and Skype
I'm still amazed at what I learned, and how much I really don't know about technology.
Just being able to try everything you taught. The hand-on approach with this content is great.
I liked the breadth and the depth of what we learned today; there was enough depth that I think I can do it when I go home.
I liked learning how to upload video to a blog. I didn't know it was that easy. I'm interested in Google Docs - well and everything else. Way cool.
Learned a lot in a short amount of time. I like the fact that you put the links on the boot camp page. This should help with future use.
working on blogs again -- uploading pictures
Excellent presentations....a lot of information to sink in! Thank you!
Review and going back to work on blog. I also liked using jing, inserting video clips and photos.
The amount. It was a LOT, but I appreciated the opportunity to become aware of educational uses for technology. Now I need to play.
Hands on practice, time to explore
Again, the timing- I know it is tough when everyone is at a different level.
Variety, pace, and practical application- my brain IS full.
Twitter & You Tube
I learned more than I thought -- you made it so easy!
What else would you like to share with us?
To a degree, I was already a "user" of some of these things; so it wasn't all new to me, but it still was an excellent class. I feel my capacity for how to use these tools has been expanded. Thanks!
I would definitely want to continue this, but let's not wait until next summer. I may need this year to learn to use all of it and then next summer would be fine. If this could be scheduled plenty far in advance, then vacation reservations could be make accordingly. Thanks so much for a great boot camp - Scott, you definitely have a gift with technology! Dianne Anderson, Preston CSD
Thanks for all of the extra help on how to get everything moving in the right direction!
Thanks so much for this opportunity! As school leaders we need avenues like this to help us continue to be connected to the outside world of technology and to be able to be transmitters of such information to our staff! THANKS AGAIN!!!!
Thank you all very much for your time and knowledge. This was a great experience for me.
Thanks for the experience
Great job! Best learning experience in years!
Thank you for being our guide to these valuable tools.
The food was just right, although we probably didn't need a full hour for lunch. We're used to eating in 3 - 5 minutes.... Thanks, this was great!
Thanks to you all.
Excellent class -- thank you so much!
Alot of information shared...feel very fortunate not sure anything can be changed...but I feel overwhelmed.
But I don't know if I am ready yet for advance boot camp. That sounds pretty intimidating.
Put an absolutley after the YES answer in quesiton 5. Thanks to all of you for putting this together.
